Mark A. Stepovich, D.D.S. is a second generation dentist, who 28 years ago followed his father, Dr. Alexander Stepovich, into private practice. He believes in providing excellent dentistry with an emphasis on quality and longevity. Dr. Stepovich is known for his creativity in solving complex or simple situations and has an extensive network of experts with whom he collaborates. He strives to provide a comfortable environment to listen to his patients’ dental needs and desires.
He believes in the pursuit of continuous learning to provide the highest quality care in a changing environment. Beginning in 2000, Dr. Stepovich commenced his advanced training and education in esthetic, cosmetic, restorative and implant dentistry. He has completed courses with renowned educators such as Dr. Thomas Basta (F.A.C.E.), Dr. Pete Dawson (Dawson Institute), Dr. Frank Spear (Spear Education) as well as Seattle Study Club and Silicon Valley Study Club.
Dr. Stepovich is a Bay Area native who graduated from the University of the Pacific (UOP) School of Dentistry in San Francisco, class of 1986. He graduated from dental school with honors, and is a member of both the TKO and OKU honor societies. Prior to attending UOP, he attended San Diego State University, where he played for the #1 ranked soccer team, The Aztecs. He is also a 1979 graduate of Leland High School in San Jose, California.
When he is not practicing dentistry, Dr. Stepovich enjoys ice and rock climbing, cycling (both mountain and road), motocross and off-road racing, hiking, landscaping and gardening.
